What's in your I-pod?
Much like televisions, I-pods and many other music players also use LCD screens, LCD's are made up of multiple monochrome pixels, or color pixels, that are placed in front of a light reflector so that when light passes through them, it can display a certain color or clarity. I-pods use rechargeable lithium batteries that connect to a click wheel which is the basic control system for the i-pod.
What physics concepts make my computer?
The main part of a computer that people notice the most is the monitor, or the screen. Most of the newer computers use LCD screens or Liquid Crystal Display screens. LCD screen are becoming more and more popular because they are lighter, thinner and use up less energy than CRT screens, or Cathode Ray Tubes. LCD's are made up of multiple monochrome pixels, or color pixels, that are placed in front of a light reflector. LCD is also nice because it does not require a large amount of power to run. Every pixel that is inside of the LCD has one layer of molecules that are placed between transparent electrodes and filters. Light travels through the filters and then the pixels to create the wanted color and clarity.
Definition of pixel: the smallest possible place where an image or part of an image can be shown.

First, How do TV's show all of the colors?
TV's have three tubes of electron beams, when the beams or tubes are turned on or off, this adjusts the brightness of the primary colors. (There are color tubes all over the screen that hold the primary colors in them. These three colors can be mixed together to display other colors)
How does a TV remote work?
Remotes work by using infrared lights. Infrared lights produce diodes which are lights flashing over a thousand times a second. The remote receiver on a TV or VCR can identify the change in the room light versus the infrared lights, then takes the signal as a command and responds by changing the channel of fast forwarding or by doing what ever button you pushed.
Definition of electron beams: A cathode ray tube thats lets electrons out into a electromagnetic apparatus that controls the stream of the electrons.
Definition of infrared: Very fast light that is invisible to the human eye but can be picked up by devices like TV's.
